FANMADE ALBUM COVER EXPLORATION DESIGN

BACKGROUND
This fanmade visual exploration was heavily inspired by their MV which was unexpectedly creepy & spooky despite the song was a banger. Feels like having a bite on nano-nano, but the visual & story was so damn good, and the song also really haunting me everytime. And “wooo hoo hoooo woo”🎶
REFERENCE
The design was inspired by the recent album of Efek Rumah Kaca - Rimpang. It was a fresh concept & the combination of the color, the design, and everything that I really want to create a remake.

I've collected some interesting footage from my research on their Music Video, which capture the overall journey that they want to emphasized.
STORY REFERENCE
Ditto really brings a fresh concept and a whole story, cinematic, is a top notch for me. Ditto talks about feelings, nostalgia, but also there is a deep meaning inside their story. Inspired by the story that told by one of the comment from Ditto (Side B) - NewJeans by Jamina Wahlberg.
STORY
The story described in the passage uses various symbols to portray the relationship between k-pop fans and idols, and the impact of this relationship on real life. Heesoo, representing k-pop fans, is shown as being deeply invested in her idols and their picture-perfect lives, while avoiding the harsh realities of her own life. When faced with real-life issues, she realizes that her idols cannot provide her with the support she needs. In the end, she learns to put k-pop aside and focus on living her life. The passage suggests that while k-pop can be a source of comfort and inspiration, fans should be mindful not to develop an unhealthy attachment to it, and should use it as a means of uplifting their mood and supporting their mental health, rather than as a substitute for real-life relationships and experiences.
